FroTime Releases Latest Version of FroTools -
Version 1.1
San Diego, CA, January 7 - FroTime announced the release of
the latest version of FroTools, FroTools Version 1.1. FroTools is a web based
server application that enhances Engineering Data Utilization by allowing users
to Search, Browse, Report, and Convert Pro/INTRALINK data through a standard
web browser. The latest version includes over 20 new enhancements that focus on
usability, increased performance, and streamlined administration.
"We are really excited about this latest version of FroTools
because of the significant increases in performance within the Pro/INTRALINK
environment", stated Eric Horn, Vice President of Research & Development
for FroTime. "In addition, our new implementation and installation procedures
have made the administration of the project extremely simple and quick."
Current FroTools customers can download the latest version of FroTools through
FroTime's website.
A few of the latest enhancements to FroTools Version 1.1
include:
. Support of Pro/INTRALINK 3.2
. Fully integrated Pro/TOOLKIT environment
. Multiple file selection for Batch processing
. Export of multiple file formats during export process
. Improved Administration interface
. Modularized and optimized code for improved browsing, reporting, and
exporting times
Finally, FroTime is expected to release Version 2.0 of FroTools sometime in
early 2003. This much anticipated version will include 3D object viewing to
allow users the ability to interrogate product information within the
Pro/INTRALINK database. In addition, FroTime will be including their Enterprise
PlugIn with Version 2.0 which will allow connectivity of a Pro/INTRALINK
database to most ERP and MRP systems.
