FroTime Introduces 3D Visualization for Pro/INTRALINK
San Diego, CA, April 27 - FroTime is pleased to announce the addition of 3D
viewing to FroTime's FroTools product line. FroTools is a web-based server
application that allows direct access to live engineering data from PTC's
Pro/INTRALINK PDM system. By incorporating Cimmetry Systems' AutoVue software,
Pro/INTRALINK users have the ability to view and collaborate on almost any file
type stored in their database from a web browser.
AutoVue provides a single point of access and common user interface allowing
users to view, markup and collaborate on over 450 different formats. In
addition to providing support for 2D CAD drafts and drawings, PCB/IC layouts,
raster, vector, hybrid and office documents, Pro/INTRALINK users can now view,
interrogate and markup 3D parts and assemblies without the requirement of the
authoring CAD application. 3D models can be measured, sectioned, exploded and
rendered in several modes including wire-frame, shaded model, silhouette and
hidden line. Finally, 3D files are streamed directly to the web browser,
eliminating the need to create a separate viewable database.
