ProE Tutorial on Creating A Drawing Template

The ability to create and utilize Pro-Engineer Drawing templates is one of the easiest ways to automate your engineering and drafting process. By using a Pro-Engineer Drawing template, your format, BOM tables, and even views will automatically be generated. Imagine having your Pro-Engineer Drawing 90% complete right when you open it up!

This tutorial begins by demonstrating how to create Pro-Engineer Drawing formats. The format will typically contain a title block, borders, parameters, and even imported company logos. Formats are similar to templates, however they do not have the Auto-View placement functionality that templates do. Auto-View placement allows you to save where and how views will be created for a new Pro-Engineer Drawing. These views can even be defined by properties, sections, and dimensions. Talk about some huge time savings when it comes to creating a Pro-Engineer Drawing...
