ProE Tutorial on Simple Draft Features

This ProE Advanced Tutorial introduces Drafts in Pro/Engineer that are features that add tapers to any tabulated plane or cylinder at a specific angle. A draft is essential for parts that have completely vertical wall and would have a chance of locking the part in the tool. The most common uses of this type of feature would be for any part that is going to be molded. This includes any plastic molded part or cast metal part.

With draft functionality you can quickly add draft to multiple surfaces in a part with one feature. In addition, this ProE Advanced Tutorial covers the idea of "neutral plane" and what Pro/ENGINEER is asking for when properly setting up a draft.
