Using Intent Manager

This Pro-E CREO Tutorial explains how to use the Intent Manager within Sketcher to create 2D profiles.

ProE Tutorial on Using Intent Manager

One of the more difficult aspects for new Pro-E users is grasping how to use Intent Manger. This Pro-E CREO Tutorial covers in-depth how to create a multitude of 2D sketches for geometry creation.

For Pro-E CREO to create a feature, the sketch must be fully constrained. This can be somewhat frustrating at times, however the benefits down the road are great. We begin by explaining the difference between Strong and Weak dimensions and the proper use of constraints. A simple sketch is created to demonstrate the use of constraints and symmetry.

Once you have completed a simple sketch, move on to our complex sketch to help you become a master at Intent Manager. The sketch in this Pro-E CREO Tutorial encompasses many constraints, strong dimensions, and symmetrical properties to reinforce what you have learned.
